Viewing System Activity

Detailed logs of user activity and system status can be viewed by system administrators by selecting Activity Log from the Settings menu. The Activity Log screen displays:

The log entries that are listed can be filtered by any or all of the following:

Company, Organization, and User

For selecting on values of type, press the Filter by... button to display a list of Types

  • API - Operations to create, delete, or update values for companies, organizations, folders, and applications made using the API

  • Application - Reprocessing of applications

  • Audio evaluator - Uploading of audio files for supported-format verification (Will my audio work?)

  • Callback - Warnings and errors that occur during file callbacks

  • Data management - Files cleaned up due to an organization's retention policy

  • Login - User logins, logouts, and invalid login attempts. Only explicit user login and logout actions are captured, and not session timeouts that force a user logout.

  • Setting - Operations to create, delete, or update values for companies, organizations, folders, and applications made using the UI

  • System - Backend and frontend startup and license check messages, and system mode change notices (between normal, readonly, and safe modes).

  • Update - Database updates done in the background

  • Upload - Uploading of audio/text files for initial transcription

  • User management - Creation and approval of new user accounts as well as updates or deletion of existing user accounts

  • Tag - File tagging

For selecting on values of severity - Press the Filter by... to display a list of Severity levels

  • Warning

  • Error

key word search - may be one or more words, including numbers

Select any column heading to sort log entries according to the values in that column.
