V-Blaze and V-Cloud Online Help

Monitoring Responses and Minimizing Retries

When submitting transcription requests, you may receive HTTP codes that can help you identify problems in the files that you are submitting for transcription or connectivity problems with V‑Cloud. Common HTTP response codes and their implications are the following:

  • 4XX client error codes - HTTP errors in the 4XX family indicate a problem with the request that you submitted to V‑Cloud. Inspect and correct the request that you are submitting before submitting it again.

  • 5XX server error codes - HTTP errors in the 5XX family typically indicate temporary problems such as network failures or interruptions, and should be retried.

Once you receive a requestid, your call to V‑Cloud has been received and enqueued by V‑Cloud, and you should not need to retry your request.
